Job Purpose:

The Software Engineer Support (SES) must have hands on experience of providing high quality support to meet customer requirements. The SES will assist the SSES/DH MIS in carrying out the Support Function. The Software Engineer Support must have an understanding of the support complexities of the products and environments being supported, as well as an understanding of the support process and its requirements.

Duties will also involve analysis, design, development, testing, maintenance, implementation and enhancements of in-house developed programs/applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement software at different sites.
• Provide support and perform troubleshooting.
• Help develop support infrastructure and improve internal support tools.
• Provide responsive and solid remote technical support in application installation and configuration, replication and diagnosis of customer problems via email and phone.
• Document bug reports and incident reports, and develop internal knowledge base.
• Log all information about problems and follow through to resolution.
• Revise and create user-end documentation for software products.
• Must continue to develop technical expertise in in-house developed and procured product lines.
• Provide training and guidance to support personnel.

Database Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviews, develops, and designs data models using standard diagramming techniques, in conjunction with application development teams; creates logical data models and translates into physical database structures that integrate with existing or proposed database structures.
• Monitors relational databases to optimize database performance, resource use, and physical implementations of databases; addresses a variety of database integration issues including migration between disparate databases, integration, maintenance/conversion, capacity planning issues, and new applications.
• Maintains development, test, and production RDBMS environments.
• Design and Implement database solutions for Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and Cyber Security.
• Monitors and maintains database security and database software, in cooperation with data security administrators.
• Provides advice to applications programmers in the effective use of database languages; advises on troubleshooting, exception processing needs, and other data management issues.
• Maintains availability and integrity of databases through multiple access schemes; facilitates sharing of common data by overseeing proper key and index management and data dictionary maintenance.
• May evaluate and recommend testing and evaluation of new procedures, software, and hardware.
• Monitors and manages database backups, logs, and journals; installs, maintains, and upgrades database software; restores and/or recovers data as required.
• Creates, procures and maintains various database related documents such as manuals and programmers handbooks.
• Provide 24 hour on-call support. Job shall be shift based.
• Maintains a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Jr. Penetration Tester

Job Purpose:

Penetration Tester shall employ various techniques, tools and approaches on Bank’s digital infrastructures to identify, test and highlight vulnerabilities in the Bank’s Security Posture. The incumbent shall perform comprehensive vulnerability assessment to define, identify, classify and prioritize vulnerabilities in computer systems, applications and network infrastructures. Identification of IOCs and ensuring that they are attended to.

Pen Tester shall facilitate the IT team in resolution of identified vulnerabilities by providing them adequate guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing of SME Bank’s Digital infrastructure.
• Create new testing methods to identify vulnerabilities.
• Perform physical security assessments of systems, servers and other network devices to identify areas that require physical protection.
• Pinpoint methods and entry points that attacker may use to exploit vulnerabilities or weaknesses. Search for weaknesses in common software, web applications and proprietary systems.
• Research, evaluate, document and discuss findings with IT teams.
• Review and provide feedback for information security fixes.
• Establish improvements for existing security services, including hardware, software, policies and procedures.
• Identify areas where improvement is needed in security education and awareness for users.
• Be sensitive to corporate considerations when performing testing (i.e. minimize downtime and loss of employee productivity).
• Stay updated on the latest malware and security threats.
• Performs all duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Comprehensive knowledge of tactics, techniques, and procedures associated with malicious insider activity, organized crime/fraud groups and both state and non-state sponsored threat actors.
• Must be able to critically examine an organization and system through the perspective of a threat actor and articulate risk in clear, precise terms.
• Proficiency in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, Cobalt Strike, Nessus, Hashcat etc.
• Sound knowledge of networks, major operating systems, active directory etc.

IT Officer-Support

Job Purpose:

Shall be responsible for independently maintaining the IT Infrastructure at the branch/office and providing technical support to the end-user(s).

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of Server Room/Data Centre at branch/office.
• Local Area and Wide Area Network maintenance & Trouble-shooting.
• Installation, maintenance and trouble-shooting of Business & System Applications.
• Installation, maintenance and trouble-shooting of Hardware.
• Basic Maintenance of CCTV system.
• Implementation of applicable sections of Bank’s Business Continuity Plan, Disaster Recovery Plan, IT/MIS SOPs and Backup Policy/Guidelines etc.
• Implementation of applicable sections of Bank’s Information/Cyber Security policies, procedures, standards, guidelines and Action Plans etc.
• Train users on Hardware, Software, Applications and Information Security.
• Interaction with vendors and Internal IT staff to resolve IT Infrastructure issues.
